Former Spartak defender Nicolas Pareja told why he decided to move to the Moscow club in 2010, despite offers from other teams.
Parekha played for the Red-Whites from 2010 to 2014; as part of the team, the football player won the silver medal of the Russian Championship in the 2011/12 season.
– A little about your past in Spartak. They say that CSKA, Zenit and Spartak were interested in you. Is this true and why did you choose Spartak?
They called me first. I talked with Karpin and Popov. There was an interesting project, the conditions suited everyone, that’s why I chose it, ”Sport24 quotes Parekha.
Now Pareja is participating in the Legends Cup tournament as part of the Latin American team, which will end in Moscow on February 12.
