Tikhonov estimated the chances of Spartak to impose competition on Zenit

Former Spartak midfielder Andrey Tikhonov told RB Sport that the Red-White players have improved in quality.

– Is it possible that Zenit will play a draw? Maybe. We look at the calendar – Spartak has 8 games at home, there are not so many away matches. Optimism – based on what kind of football the team shows. Large bench, 5-6 substitutions are made and the game does not change. Very mobile midfield – such a trio as Prutsev – Litvinov – Zobnin still go look. Each of them is ready to run 12-13 km per match. Prutsev added a lot, Zobnin became better. Look at the attack group – you change the three, and the quality does not fall.
