The head coach of Krylia Sovetov, Igor Osinkin, said that he tried to convince ex-footballers from Samarans Sergey Pinyaev and Maxim Glushenkov to stay longer at the club.

Pinyaev and Glushenkov moved to Lokomotiv from Samara’s Krylya Sovetov during the winter transfer window.

– Some rumors about the departure of Pinyaev and Glushenkov reached us. But all contacts between the clubs began in mid-December. Back in the fall, when the first rumors had just begun, I was talking with the guys, telling them that I would like them to be with us longer. I always want this, because stability would allow us to reach another level. I want the leaders to stay with us. I just gave my arguments: “When making a decision, understand that we have a good team, atmosphere. Everything to progress.” After they made their decision, I had a good conversation with both of them. I wish them every success. Let them not score in head-to-head matches, but in the rest – to whomever they want, ”Osinkin told the Championship.

18-year-old Pinyaev signed a contract with Lokomotiv for 4 years, this season the MIR RPL played 11 matches, scored three goals and gave two assists. 23-year-old Glushenkov also signed a 4-year agreement with the railway workers, he has played 16 matches in the current RPL season, scoring five goals and making six assists.
