For this reason, the managers of the league joined Netflix, the well-known streaming platformto create a documentary focused on the competition, to offer his followers a new perspective on how the teams involved in it work on a daily basis.

“It’s the opportunity for all our fans to see La Liga from a completely different angle”, said La Liga’s executive general manager, Oscar Mayowho assured that he felt close to his work group “Very proud and excited to share this project.”

In the images shown in the trailer, you can see the dressing rooms of the teams before the matches, some training sessions, goal celebrations, decisive plays and the frustration of some players at certain moments, components that are part of every match.
The project has just entered pre-production phase and will focus on the 2023-2024 season. “Similar to Netflix’s growing slate of sports programming, such as Formula 1: Drive to Survive and Break Point, lThe series will give an inside look at everything that happens in professional football behind the scenes and the most personal stories of one of the most followed leagues in the world.” indicates the platform.
When does the La Liga series premiere on Netflix?
Being only in the pre-production process, The documentaries are estimated to be released in 2024.
