Striker Samara “Wings of the Soviets” Vladimir Sychevoi said that he wants to get a new passport before the start of the new season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), but in the second part of the current championship he will play in a T-shirt with the name Pisarsky.
– So far, the new name is only on a T-shirt. I went to the relevant authority, there was not enough time to change. The passport takes a long time to be done. Now fees, flights. It will be in the Sychevaya passport, but I will change the T-shirt. Most likely, by the next championship (I will change my passport) if I stay in Russia (laughs). When I come to Russia, I will do it. Everything will be official in the next six months, – Sychevy is quoted by Match TV.
Krylya Sovetov previously announced that Sychevoi would play for the club under his stepfather’s surname Pisarsky. The 26-year-old striker, who previously played for Orenburg, leads the RPL scorer race with 14 goals.
The 2022/23 season in Russia will resume with the matches of the FONBET Cup of Russia in February, the meetings of the 18th round of the WORLD RPL will be held in early March. Broadcasts of games can be watched on the Match TV federal channel, as well as on the holding’s thematic channels and on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
