PSG release MRI results for Neymar after horrific injury
Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar escaped a fracture after suffering an injury in the French Championship match with Lille, according to the press service of the Paris club.
The meeting was held on Sunday in Paris and ended with the score 4:3 in favor of the home team. At the beginning of the second half, Neymar received a terrible ankle injury and left the field on a stretcher.
Neymar, who received an ankle injury, underwent an MRI. Examination revealed no fracture. A new examination will be carried out in 48 hours, PSG said in a statement.
Neymar, 31, has scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists in 29 games for PSG this season.
