Former Spartak player Eduard Mor believes that the quality of the field at the Trud stadium in Ulyanovsk can neutralize the strengths of the Zenit legionnaires in the Russian Cup match with the local Volga.
The teams will meet in Ulyanovsk on February 25th.
– The worse the field, the better the team that will defend. For Zenit players, especially Brazilians, this is a huge minus. They are not used to playing on such fields, it will be very difficult for them. It takes more time to handle the ball, that is, the chances of the teams are evened out,” Mor said on Match TV.
