For the first place in the World Cup, Cameroon will face Thailand and the winner will play Portugal. For second place, Senegal will play Haiti and the winner will face Chile. Third place will be decided in a home match between Chinese Taipei, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay and Panama. This intercontinental playoff will be held in New Zealand from 18 to 23 February 2023.
