The Torpedo club has lost a good manager in the person of Ilya Herkus, football functionary Yuri Belous told RB Sport.

On Wednesday, Torpedo announced that Herkus would leave the club on March 1. Yaroslav Savin will become the club’s president from March 2.

“It would be better for me to evaluate the work of Herkus at Lokomotiv, and not at Torpedo, because he spent more time there,” said Belous. – Herkus worked great at Lokomotiv, the team became champions under him. Despite some difficulties with the coaching staff, he found a common language. Club “Torpedo” has lost a good manager. It would be possible to evaluate the work of Herkus if he worked there for two transfer windows. At the moment, Torpedo is a clear outsider.
