Krasnodar’s Brazilian newcomer Cady Borges spoke about the team’s participation in the Winline RPL Winter Cup, and also admitted that he considers the Russian Football Championship to be very competitive.
– It seems to me that too little time has passed to assess the real strength of Krasnodar. Tournaments of this kind are important because they allow you to work out the style of the team in the playing conditions and understand the capabilities of individual players. We showed a good game against Rostov. But something else is more important – we are one step closer to becoming one on the field.
Defeat 0:4 from Spartak? It’s okay, that’s what tournaments are for, so that everyone understands their mistakes. We are in search of our balance, and such victories and defeats help us better feel our weak and strong points.
What can I say about the level of Spartak, Rostov, Sochi? It’s too early for me to talk about these teams. It is difficult to judge someone’s level by one game of the pre-season tournament. But I already understand that the Russian championship is very competitive. You will have to work hard to win it, – Kadi told Metaratings.ru.
Kadi moved to Krasnodar from Qarabag in January 2023. The Brazilian played 75 matches for the Azerbaijani team, scoring 28 goals and 28 assists.
“Krasnodar” after 17 rounds takes eighth place in the WORLD table of the Russian Premier League (RPL), gaining 25 points.
On March 3, the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL) will continue. Watch live broadcasts of matches of the RPL and FONBET of the Cup of the country on the federal channel “Match TV” and the thematic channels of the holding, as well as on the sites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
