The Krylya Sovetov record holder for the number of matches in the Russian championships, coach of the youth national team Anton Bober told Metaratings.ru about his son Ivan, who signed a contract with Krylya Sovetov.

– How similar is your son to you, what type and what qualities is a player?

– He has good individual actions, ball handling, speed. He needs to get stronger physically – everyone has a different transition from youth football to adult football. I hope that in the near future he will get stronger and be competitive in adult football. What advice do I give? Work, including individually – and everything will be fine. We are in touch with physical training coach Vladimir Zelenovsky. Ivan will be involved in training with the main team, but in this period he is a youth team player.

– Ivan plays on the left in midfield, like Pinyaev. Can they be compared?

– It is possible in terms of position, Ivan is also right-handed. There are similar qualities, but, in my opinion, these are slightly different players.

– The trouble with Samara football is that the best students go to Moscow, where there is more competition, better than the academy. Ivan, on the contrary, moved from Chertanovo to Wings, why did you make such a decision?

– Yes, when he left for Chertanovo, the reason was the competitive environment – the championship of Moscow, then the UFL, in which the Wings begin to participate, but so far it is the UFL-Privolzhye, younger ages. I hope that in the future they will participate in the main UFL, and the guys who have outgrown the championship of the Volga region will remain in Samara and reach the youth and main teams.

We moved to Wings, because now Ivan has a new stage after the UFL. He went to the training camp, stayed in this environment, understood what he should strive for and that he could get there. With this purpose and task, they came to the Wings of the Soviets.

– You are the coach of the youth team of Russia. By age and level, does Ivan Bober qualify for the Anton Bobr team?

– We worked with the team born in 2005. Ivan 2006, but he was in the expanded lists. Maybe he would have been called up to the final part, but now he is a player of the 2006 national team. We released 2005 and are now working with 2009.

Ivan Bober began his career at the Wings Academy. In July 2020, he became a football player for Chertanovo. The midfielder played for the youth teams of Russia U-15, U-16, U-17. He made 12 appearances and scored seven goals for the national teams.

The 2022/23 season in Russia resumed on February 22 with FONBET Russian Cup matches, and on March 3 the WORLD RPL draw will continue. Gundry is 30 years old, moved to Akhmat in 2024 and played 63 games for the club, in which he scored five goals. Previously, the player won the Belgian Cup with Antwerp (2019/20), became champion of Tunisia (2014/15) and the Tunisian Cup (2017) with Club Africain. The defender also played for Belgian Westerlo, Bulgarian Slavia, French Drancy and Arles-Avignon and emirate Ajman. Gundry played 19 matches for the Tunisian national team, in which he was not effective.

After the first part of the season, “Akhmat” is in eighth place in the rankings RPLscoring 22 points in 18 rounds.
