Masalitin believes that Lokomotiv should not have put Dzyuba in the starting lineup for the match with Spartak
Former football player of CSKA and Spartak Valery Masalitin praised the game of Lokomotiv forward Artem Dziuba in the match of the ¼ final of the Russian Cup with Spartak (0:1). According to Masalitin, the newcomer of the railway workers should have been released in the middle of the second half.
Dziuba spent the entire match on the field, which became his debut for Lokomotiv in official games.
– I think Dziuba was supposed to go out for 30 minutes. He would come in handy fresh when the team started playing pressure. And so he was loaded, he could not realize the two moments that he had. It would be good for him and the team if he came out in the second half.
I did not understand why Miranchuk did not play from the first minutes. It is clear that Galaktionov sees everyone every day, he knows the capabilities of the players, but Pinyaev was also lost on the field, Masalitin told Gazeta.Ru.
The return match between Spartak and Lokomotiv is scheduled for February 27 at the Red-White Stadium. The meeting will be broadcast live on Match TV.
