Former football player of the USSR national team Yuri Gavrilov noted that he did not expect an abundance of goals in the second leg of the quarterfinal stage of the Russian Cup between Spartak and Lokomotiv. According to the veteran, the red-whites will act cautiously.
According to him, the fans should not expect a bright and sparkling game from the two metropolitan teams.
– Now the season is being resumed, the teams are just entering it, perhaps that’s why they haven’t played much yet. What were the results? Rostov – Ural – 1:1, Lokomotiv – Spartak – 0:1.
I think the return games will be tense. Games are on the way! Think for yourself how the matches will turn out. Everyone will play carefully, they will try to achieve a positive result, – Gazeta.Ru quoted Gavrilov as saying.
The return match between Spartak and Lokomotiv is scheduled for February 27 at the Red-White Stadium. The meeting will be broadcast live on Match TV.
