Chernikov extended the contract with Krasnodar until 2026 – media

Krasnodar midfielder Alexander Chernikov signed a new contract with the club until June 30, 2026, RB Sport reports.
The previous agreement of 23-year-old Chernikov with the club was calculated until the end of the current season.
In the 2022/2023 season, Chernikov played eight matches for the team.
Krasnodar scored 25 points in 17 matches and is in eighth place in the WORLD standings of the Russian Premier League. Also, the “bulls” in the first match of the ¼ finals of the RPL FONBET Cup of Russia on football lost to CSKA with a score of 0:3. The return match will take place on 28 February.
