Manchester United won their first title since 2017 by beating Newcastle and Karius in the League Cup final
Manchester United defeated Newcastle in the final of the English League Cup.
The match at Wembley Stadium ended 2-0. As part of the Red Devils, Casemiro scored a goal in the 33rd minute, after another six minutes, Sven Botman, the player of the Forties, cut the ball into his own net.
The Newcastle goal was defended by Loris Karius, who played the first official match in two years.
Manchester United won the first trophy since 2017, when the team became champions of the Europa League and the League Cup.
