The composition of the Russian national football team for the first training camp of the year is planned to be announced on March 5-6
The head coach of the Russian national football team Valery Karpin, in an interview with Match TV, said that the composition of the national team for the first training camp and a friendly match against Iran would be announced on March 5-6.
On Sunday, the communications service of the Russian Football Union (RFU) told Match TV that the RFU and the Iranian Football Federation had agreed on the date of the friendly match of national teams – March 23 in Tehran.
– When do you plan to name the composition for the first camp of the year?
“Two weeks, as usual. Probably March 5–6,” Karpin told Match TV.
At the moment, UEFA and FIFA do not allow Russian teams and clubs to participate in international tournaments due to the situation in Ukraine.
