“I have never had such demanding coaches as Talalaev” – Zhuravlev

Torpedo defender Yuri Zhuravlev admitted to RB Sport that the team’s head coach Andrey Talalaev is the most demanding specialist in his memory.

Zhuravlev has been working under Talalaev since June 2022. At first they crossed paths in the Grozny “Akhmat”, and now they are working in the “Torpedo”.

– Can I characterize Talalaev? Demanding. In every exercise, in the game, in martial arts. You must complete the task in every moment by 100 percent. I have never had such demanding coaches before. Talalaev is the first such. Everyone is demanding in their own way, but Andrey Viktorovich gets hung up on this, takes each episode and analyzes it, – said Zhuravlev.

Zhuravlev, 26, has made 18 appearances this season, scoring goals and assists.

On Sunday, Torpedo lost to Akron Togliatti 0:2 in the away match of the ¼ final of the FONBET Path of Regions of the Russian Cup and was eliminated from the tournament.
