Petit: “I wouldn’t criticize Potter for bad results now”

Former Chelsea footballer Emmanuel Petit believes that the invitation of the former coach of “Real” Zinedine Zidane for the coach of the Blues it is not a good idea.

Zidane doesn’t speak English, for Chelsea this is not the best candidate to replace Potter – with all due respect to my ex-partner.

Potter has been working since September, will you fire him? We have to leave him, the team still has chances to win the Champions League.

If you fire Potter, whoever replaces him will be forced to adjust, to do the right thing, and fans have to understand that it will take weeks. I wouldn’t fault Potter for bad results now.
