Football player Zhuravlev considers Gazizov a top manager

The general director of Ufa, Shamil Gazizov, is a top manager who understands well what he is doing, former defender of the Ufa team Yuri Zhuravlev, who now plays for Torpedo, told RB Sport.
Gazizov has been working as the General Director of Ufa since 2010. In the summer of 2020, he left for a similar position at Spartak for several months.
– Is Gazizov a top manager? I think yes. When he was at Spartak, I was not yet in the Premier League. But if we take the last year, he sold three from Ufa: me, Hamid Agalarov and Vladislav Kamilov. Made good transfers and got paid for them. Now he has sold Pliev and Tishchenko. I think he understands well what he is doing, – said Zhuravlev.
Zhuravlev, 26, has made 18 appearances this season, scoring goals and assists.
On Sunday, Torpedo in the away match of the ¼ finals of the FONBET Way of Regions of the Russian Cup lost to Togliatti Akron with a score of 0:2 and flew out of the tournament.
