Golovin extended the contract with Monaco until 2026
Russian midfielder Alexander Golovin signed a new contract with Monaco, according to site football club.
The agreement of the 26-year-old player is calculated until 2026.
– It is a great pleasure for me to continue working in Monaco, and I would like to thank the management of the club for the trust placed in me. I am also very glad that I had the opportunity to stay here for a long time and continue my development. This year, our team is again showing good results in the championship, and I will strive to continue helping my teammates perform as best as possible in order to finish the season as high as possible and achieve our goals,” said Golovin.
Golovin has been playing for Monaco since July 2018. Previously, the midfielder defended the colors of CSKA Moscow. This season Golovin has scored six goals and made seven assists in 35 matches. In total, the Russian has 23 goals and 32 assists in 166 games for Monaco.
