The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) will consider the episode with the appearance of a banana on the field in the FONBET Cup of Russia match between Volga Ulyanovsk and Zenit St. Petersburg, Match TV reports.

Zenit in the match of the ¼ finals of the FONBET Way of Regions of the Cup of Russia defeated Volga in Ulyanovsk with a score of 3:0. A banana appeared on the field at the end of the meeting. We will consider the episode with a banana, as well as episodes with throwing foreign objects, namely snowballs. As stated in the report, they hit the players, the referees, and the stewards. The meeting dedicated to all cup matches, including the game in Ulyanovsk, will be held on March 3 in full-time format. We will invite representatives of the Volga and Zenit to the meeting, ”Match TV quotes the head of the committee, Artur Grigoryants.

According to the results of the match between RPL Spartak and Lokomotiv (4:2), the FTC will consider insulting chants of Red-White fans against striker Artem Dzyuba.

– In the match between Spartak and Lokomotiv, we will consider the chanting of profanity and offensive expressions from the fans. The issue of violation of the rules by the guests will also be studied: during the break, the club did not bring the player to a flash interview, and not all players went through the mixed zone after the game, Grigoryants said.
