President, Buddhist and sex addicts. Where did the Ballon d’Ors of the 90s go?

Found the members of the big ten.

1990 Lothar Matthäus

Married five times, always divorced. He cheated on her wives, even though she was 27 years younger. Lothar is addicted to sex. Matthäus was treated, but it didn’t help. Distracted to work as a coach. But not as smart in life as he was in the field. Matheus spends his time and money on young women like Leonardo DiCaprio. He is also the German sidewalk, he makes catchy statements. He also works as an ambassador for Bayern and coaches children. It is possible that to meet the beautiful mothers of the wards.

1991 Jean-Pierre Papin

Papen turns 60 this year. Tired of sitting idle, I tried to train. But, like Matthäus, Jean-Pierre failed. One can only dream of Deschamps’ laurels. The former Marseille, Milan and Bayern player missed the offer for world Cup-1998, but won the Ballon d’Or at a time when there was a new winner every year. At the end of last year, the Marseille president confirmed that he had hired Papin as an adviser.

1992. Marco van Basten

While this is a company of terrible coaches. The three-time Ballon d’Or winner ended his career early due to injury. Like the coach, he mocked Holland and then Ajax. I’m trying to find myself in headquarters AZ and the national team was unsuccessful. Reached the role of official Fifa. I remember he offered to clear offsides and yellow cards. The Marseille reforms – Van Basten’s full name, were not accepted. He was recently in Qatar.

1993 Roberto Baggio

He became a Buddhist and farmer. Andreina’s wife, with whom he has been together for more than 30 years, influenced. After retiring from football, Baggio felt as if he was dead. Roberto worked for the Italian national team, but the office is not for him. But family is important to Baggio, who has seven siblings. He lives in a rural house. There is a grill, pavilions for meeting grandchildren, sons and a daughter living abroad. Roberto works in the garden when his knee allows it.

1994 Hristo Stoichkov

It seems that Stoichkov has improved. The former adviser to the Rostov president hasn’t coached for a long time and is much softer in ratings than he was before. Father of two daughters, proud grandfather of Mia’s granddaughter. A week ago, Christo went to see her at the Camp Nou. He bragged about how cool a football player he was. He plays in veteran matches and rests with his wife in warm regions. I looked first world Cup at the invitation of the sheikhs. I met old acquaintances: Valderrama, Matheus and the next one on the list.

1995 George Weah

Weah is the president of Liberia. George still plays football, even though he’s gained political weight in his belly. He is the only African with the Ballon d’Or. Let’s hope Weah has more virtues in politics than in ordinary life. Like Matthäus, George liked to walk to the left. He has illegitimate children, paternity established in the courts, as well as children with a legal wife. Everyone knows young Timothy Weah, this is the striker of the national team United States of America and “Lilac”.

1996 Matthias Sammer

Zammer has organizational skills. The European champion was smart enough not to become a coach, he worked as a coach at Borussia D, Stuttgart and the German national team. He was the sporting director of Bayern. He subsequently returned to Dortmund, recommending a club close to him. The Dresden Dynamo trainee also helps the German national team. Sammer recently considered taking Bierhoff’s place in the national team, but Rudy Feller has been appointed sporting director.

1997 Ronaldo

The Brazilian successfully invested money, got rich. Earlier this year he proposed to his girlfriend Selina. Will the third official marriage be the last and the happiest? Before that, the clever Ronaldo always cheated on his wives. He had more than a hundred lovers and now he spends his energy on football. Ronaldo manages Valladolid and bought Cruzeiro for $70m. His first club at senior level returned to Serie A.

1998 Zinedine Zidane

Hurray, the first successful coach in the sacred ten! Nobody needs to introduce Zidane of the new century. The Frenchman celebrated Real Madrid’s victories Champions League, influenced the fate of El Clasico, left and returned to the club from Madrid. He now he holds a grandmaster break, choosing a new team. PSG or Juventus? Maybe it’s time to investigate Premier Leaguewhere did he not play football? We know for sure that Zinedine will not be in the French national team until the end of Euro 2024. He is leaving Deschamps. But the man who offered Didier a long-term contract left office immediately after he had the imprudence to joke, mentioning Zidane. The French do not condone such treatment of their legend.

1999 Rivaldo

Twenty years ago, Rivaldo experienced a terrible tragedy. His pregnant wife Rosa died, the child was also not saved. Vitor tried to resist for the sake of his son and daughter, entered football with his head, played until 2015. The Barcelona legend is now fifty years old. I tried myself as a sports manager of the last club, but I realized that this was not for him. The world champion didn’t become a coach, just as his eldest son Rivaldinho didn’t become a strong footballer, he got lost in the Romanian forests. And Rivaldo started losing his hair a long time ago, so he decided to get a hair transplant. We know the name of the reason for doing this. Eliza Kaminsky—Rivaldo’s second wife and mother of her three children—looks much younger than her years. Even the owner of the “Golden Ball” is in excellent physical shape, but the bald patches have begun to worry.

In a couple of months, he will be walking with his grandchildren David, Sophia and Isabella with magnificent hair, like Rooney, ter Stegen and other footballers who have had a hair transplant. As well as training with his wife and supporting Messi in the final world Cup, Rivaldo also educates his younger children. Joao Vitor and Isaac grow up in the Portuguese club Vizela school. The legends of the nineties did not become great mentors, but among them there is a president, a Buddhist, many womanizers and, at the same time, such wonderful fathers of families as Baggio, Zidane and Rivaldo.

The former president of the Ukrainian Football Federation is wanted in Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has placed the former president of the Ukrainian Football Federation (UAF) on the wanted list. Andrei Pavelko. This comes from Ukrainian data Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the database, Pavelko is accused of two criminal articles: embezzlement, misappropriation of property or misappropriation of property through abuse of office, committed on a large scale or by an organized group, as well as official forgery.

On October 9, it became known that the former UAF president had been indicted on new charges. As clarified by the Strana publication, the investigation believes that Pavelko and a group of other Ukrainian football officials took possession of 9.32 million euros, which UAF received from the Union of European Football Associations (of UEFA) in 2015-2016.

Pavelko had previously been accused of carrying out bribery schemes during the construction of a plant to produce artificial turf for football pitches. In this case, the president of the association was arrested in November 2022, but managed to get bail. In June 2023 he was arrested again; only in February 2024 did he win the appeal and was released. In the same year, according to Ukrainian AveragePavelko traveled abroad, submitting a certificate of disability. Then “Strana” associated the persecution of Pavelko with the fact that Vladimir Zelensky was pressuring him to force him to hand over the position of president of the association to Ukrainian footballer Andrei Shevchenko, who eventually led the UAF in January 2024.

The RFU does not rule out Karpin merging the posts again

Russian Football Federation (RFU) does not rule out an agreement with the coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin reconciling work in the national team and the club. The Secretary General spoke about it in an interview RFU Maxim Mitrofanov.

In November Karpin announced his departure from Dinamo Moscow; he had been working at the club since June. Later, in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel, he ruled out a future combination.

“Never say ‘never’, everything happens in life,” Mitrofanov said in response to the question of whether he agreed RFU once again combining Karpin. — Basic RFU against the combination of the work of the national team and club coaches. But during the period of exclusion from official competitions this combination is in some cases possible; several coaches, even at the helm of the national teams, combine their work with that of the club”.

“If we talk about the normal competitive period in which the federation and its team should exist, the combination is impossible, the coach and his staff must be completely focused on the team and solving the assigned tasks. We do not know whether Valery Georgievich will ever contact us again with the question of the combination. I don’t think he knows it either. But it seems to me that he himself has drawn important conclusions and expressed them. The combination places a greater burden on the football team. There, too, they must correctly evaluate their capabilities. When a coach is in the national team, objectively he cannot deal with club matters,” Mitrofanov added.

Previously, Karpin also combined work in the national team and Rostov, but left the club in February this year.
