Long’s goal broke the record set by Ledley King for Tottenham against Bradford City in the 2000-2001 season. The defender’s shot from 25 meters into the net after just 9.82 seconds of the match.

Billings is now the number two man on that list, as is himself the official time of his first goal at Arsenal on 4 March 2023 is 9.11 seconds.
