The sports director of “Venice” does not know if Cheryshev will remain in the team
Venice sporting director Davide Brendolin believes that it is too early to think about the future of Russian midfielder Denis Cheryshev in the Italian club.
The contract of the 32-year-old winger runs until June 30, 2024.
— Cheryshev feels great. He is great. As for his future in the team, there is no specifics yet. It is too early to think whether we will renew the contract with Denis. Let’s see what will happen next. It remains to be seen whether he will stay at all in the summer or leave the team,” Brandolin told Sport24.
Cheryshev left the Spanish Valencia at the end of last season and moved to the Italian team in the summer. The Russian in 13 matches scored three goals and made one assist.
