Orenburg sports director Dmitry Andreev told RB Sport that the team got everything they could from the deal to sell striker Vladimir Sychev.
In the past winter transfer window, Sychevoi moved from Orenburg to Samara’s Wings of the Soviets for 100 million rubles and changed his last name to Pisarsky.
– We essentially pulled him out of Omsk. There was not a very correct situation, so I directly contacted him, explained everything, he agreed and took the tickets. When it came to talking about the contract, he and the agent wanted to include a minimum compensation clause. We were able to increase this amount to 35 million, which was good money for the FNL.
When he started to score and we wanted to renew the contract, he could say: “Guys, go fuck yourself, now in the winter I’ll take it and leave for this money.” The ball was not on our side. For you to understand, we started the process of extending the contract exactly the day after he scored three goals. We negotiated for a month and a half. Therefore, I cannot say that 100 million is not enough. Of course, I would like more. But we squeezed everything we could out of this situation,” Andreev said.
On March 10, Orenburg will go on a visit to Sochi. The start is at 19:00 Moscow time. Krylya Sovetov will play CSKA away on March 14 at 16:30 Moscow time.
