Modric was called up to the Croatian squad for Euro 2024 qualifiers at the age of 37
The head coach of the Croatian national team Zlatko Dalic has announced the squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifying matches, the press service of the national team reports.
Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric, 37, who captained Croatia at the World Cup in Qatar, has received a new invitation.
Ex-CSKA player Nikola Vlašić (Torino) and ex-Spartak football player Mario Pasalic (Atalanta) should also arrive at the team’s location. Both play in midfield positions.
In the first qualifying matches for the European Championship, Croatia will play with Wales (March 25 at home) and Turkey (March 28 away).
