Miranchuk will struggle to win Serie A Player of the Month award against Di Maria and Kvaratskhelia, Camozzi believes
Torino midfielder Alexei Miranchuk is doing well in the team, but it will be difficult for him to win the award for the best player in Serie A in February, according to Franco Camozzi, a former adviser to the ex-owner of Spartak Leonid Fedun.
Other contenders for Player of the Month: Federico Baschirotto (Lecce), Angel Di Maria (Juventus), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Napoli) and Victor Osimhen (Napoli).
– Alexei Miranchuk has excellent performance in Torino, so it will be a good result if the Russian receives the Player of the Month award in Serie A. But still, Di Maria and Kvaratskhelia are now at a higher level. It will be difficult for them to win this award,” Camozzi told Sport24.
Miranchuk, 27, has made 20 appearances this season, scoring 4 goals and 4 assists.
