Former coach of the Russian national team Boris Ignatiev considers the decision of the head coach of the national team Valery Karpin not to include Lokomotiv forward Artem Dzyuba in the extended list to participate in the March training camp to be fair.

The expanded composition of the Russian national team included 41 players. Dziuba in the Saturday match WORLD RPL scored three goals against Rostov, which is headed by Karpin.

When it doesn’t work, and the game is inexpressive and no longer convincing, then we can say that it was right. Commander Karpin chooses his army and troops. It seems to me that Dziuba’s non-call is quite fair. Until he convinced Karpin. But Artem is a goal master.

In place of Karpin, I would not have called Dziuba either. I need someone I can count on in a couple of years. Artem will no longer be a football player in three years. They will demand a result from me, and the place was given not to a promising football player, but to Dziuba, ”Ignatiev told the Championship.

The training camp of the Russian national team will be held from 19 to 28 March in Novogorsk. Earlier, the communications service of the RFU told Match TV that the RFU and the Iranian Football Federation agreed on the date of the friendly match of national teams on March 23 in Tehran.
