Former CSKA goalkeeper Sergei Chepchugov told RB Sport that Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov can be called Igor Akinfeev’s heir.

Definitely he needs to work on the thinking of the game and the game with his feet, but Safonov grows into a goalkeeper with a capital letter! Matvey today can be called his heir to Akinfeev, Safonov is doing fundamental work! Chepchugov said.
