The sports director of the Moscow Lokomotiv, Dmitry Ulyanov, told Match TV that striker Artem Dzyuba’s direct salary is less than 90% of his teammates.

The 34-year-old football player moved to Lokomotiv in the winter, signing a contract until the end of the season. In the first match after returning to the RPL WORLD with Rostov, the forward scored a hat-trick, the railway workers won – 3: 1.

– The representative of Dziuba, Leonid Goldman, told me this in an interview: “For a long time there was silence. I admit that the club had other options at that time. True, were there?

“I don’t know who and what is saying, but the situation was as follows. We played for the position of the central striker Kamano and Vanya Ignatiev, but also kept in mind the options for strengthening. – Yes. We agreed on a joint meeting, talked, and very quickly everything was decided. In my opinion, these were the fastest negotiations during our time at Lokomotiv. Artem wanted to play and prove himself, and we were looking for a quality player. And the money here was in 25th place.

– One insider says that Dziuba will receive 2.5 million per month, the other – 4 million per month. Who is closer to the truth?

In this case, the truth lies in the middle. I repeat, Dziuba’s transition is not about money at all. Artyom’s salary is less than that of 90% of Lokomotiv’s main players. Everything else is recorded as bonuses for goals, for maintaining a place in the RPL, and so on, ”Match TV quotes Ulyanov.
