Lokomotiv sports director Dmitry Ulyanov, in an interview with Match TV, said that Turkish Besiktas offered only 1.5 million euros for midfielder Dmitry Barinov, calling this amount unworthy of both the club and the player.

In winter, the media reported on the possible transfer of Barinov to Besiktas for 5 million euros.

– Let’s clearly state that in the story with Barinov and Besiktas there were no five million euros, six, seven and so on. All this was in words somewhere in the Turkish media. The club received one single official offer – for 1.5 million (euro). I think this is an unworthy proposal both in relation to the player and in relation to the club. And then there were some insinuations: juggling with numbers, anonymous news. We haven’t seen the specifics yet.

– Does Barinov have any resentment towards the club due to the fact that he was not released?

Dima is a very decent guy. He did not reduce the requirements for himself, on the contrary, he began to work even more, although it seems to be much more. Dima is the soul of the company, everything is fine. Both he and we will be ready for the summer transfer window. Barinov has repeatedly said that he would like to try himself in Europe. If there are adequate proposals, of course, we will consider them, ”Match TV quotes Ulyanov.
