The Liberian ex-Spartak striker Silvanus Nimely told who he lived with at the club base after moving to Russia in 2017, and also noted the players who helped him adapt.

– Fashion Sakala, Idrisa Sambu and I lived at the base, there were also several Russians there. In Tarasovka we crossed paths with the main team, I met Ze Luis, Quincy Promes and Luis Adriano. When they found out that I live at the base, they were very surprised. But I said: “I’m happy with everything here, everything is okay.”

In Spartak-2, a translator named Dmitry helped the legionnaires a lot, while he later worked in the first team. We became friends and even met his friends. Dmitry explained to us what and how it works here.

I communicated well with many Russians, almost with all the guys from Spartak-2: with Ilya Gaponov, Anton Shitov, Dima Markitesov. And when I was invited to training with the base, they treated me very warmly from the Russians Yeshchenko and Glushakov. Yeshchenko called me a machine! — quotes the words of Nimelya Metaratings.ru.

Nimely played for Spartak-2 from 2017 to 2021, played 109 matches, scoring 23 goals and 15 assists. The forward played in the RPL for the main team and received a medal for Spartak’s victory in the 2017 Russian Super Cup.

This season, the 24-year-old striker plays for Surkhan in the Uzbek championship.
