South African Richards Bay footballer Sifamandla Mtolo has died after losing consciousness in training. website African Confederation of Football (CAF).

The accident happened on the morning of March 7th. Details were not disclosed.

CAF President Patrice Motsepe expressed his condolences on the tragic death of the 29-year-old player.

The CAF family mourns the tragic passing of a player who was instrumental in helping his club, Richards Bay, reach the top division of the South African Championship. CAF extends its deepest condolences to the Sifamandla Mtolo family.
