Iran Football Federation expects match against Russia to be held without spectators
The Iranian Football Federation told Sport24 that the match with the Russian national team is likely to be held without spectators.
A friendly game between the national teams of Iran and Russia is scheduled for March 23 in Tehran. The meeting should take the country’s largest stadium “Azadi” (78 116 spectators).
– At the moment, we know that the match between the national teams of Russia and Iran will be held without spectators, but there is no official decision yet. Perhaps something will change, and the game will be held with the audience. Let’s say one thing: there is no ticket sales for this friendly match, but perhaps in the future, something will change,” the press service of the Iranian Football Federation said.
