The sports director of “Orenburg” said that Gael Ondua is on the shortlist of the club

Sports director of “Orenburg” Dmitry Andreev said that in the summer the club will consider signing the midfielder of the German “Hannover” Gael Ondua.

On March 6, information appeared that the German club intends to terminate the contract with the football player.

– At the moment we are not looking for players. Let’s see how things go in the summer. Let’s just say Gael Ondua was left on the shortlist. In the summer we will complete the team, and if we need this position, as an option, we will consider the Cameroonian player,” Andreev told Sport24.

The 27-year-old midfielder was born in Cameroon, but is a graduate of the Lokomotiv Academy. Previously, he played at the 2022 World Cup as part of the Cameroon national team in boots with the Russian flag.

In the current season of the second German Bundesliga, Ondua has played in two matches. The midfielder appeared on the field in 27 games last season.
