International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) published a list of the best coaches in the world. The selection is based on the Best Coaches of the Year lists the organization has compiled since 1996.

The principle of scoring was as follows: if in any year the helmsman in the helmsman rating took first place, he received 20 points, the 2nd – 19 and so on. The top 15 list looks like this:
