Ferencvaros Cherchesova lost to Bayer in the first match of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League

Hungarian Ferencváros, led by Russian coach Stanislav Cherchesov, was defeated on the road by Bayer Leverkusen in the first match of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League.
The meeting in Leverkusen ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the German team, which included Kerem Demirbay and Edmond Tapsoba. In the middle of the first half, a player from Cherchesov’s team hit the crossbar.
The Iranian striker of Bayer Serdar Azmoun, who previously played for the RPL clubs Zenit, Rubin and Rostov, started the meeting in the starting lineup and spent 60 minutes on the field, after which he was replaced.
The return match will be held on March 16 in Budapest.
