Wings of the Soviets forward Vladimir Sychevoi told Metaratings.ru about the injury, due to which he did not appear in the starting lineup for the second leg of the ¼ finals of the FONBET Cup of Russia against Dynamo Moscow (1: 1).

The player assured that by the semi-final match with CSKA he should fully recover from the injury.

– In the first match, I got into the calf muscle, which is why I was replaced. Before the second game, I didn’t really train and didn’t go out to it very ready. In the second meeting, I received the same caviar. Because of this, I came in the third game as a substitute. But it hasn’t gotten any worse, it’s only getting better. I think I will go to CSKA in perfect order. Do I not feel that they began to act purposefully tougher against me? Many commentators say they know how Dynamo plays with me. Even when I played for Orenburg, after the matches with Dynamo I constantly had some kind of microtrauma, the defenders play very hard. But I think it’s a coincidence. Only time will tell if they are preparing this way for me or is it just a coincidence,” said Sychevoi.

Sychevoi started the current season at Orenburg, and in the winter he joined the Samara team. In total this season he has played 22 matches in which he scored 19 goals and made two assists.
