In St. Petersburg, you can definitely expect a full house in the stands in the Russia-Iraq match, Shirokov believes
A friendly football match between Russia and Iraq in St. Petersburg can be held in full stands, says former Zenit midfielder Roman Shirokov.
Earlier, the communications service of the Russian Football Union (RFU) told Match TV that an agreement had been reached to hold a friendly match between Russia and Iraq on March 26 at the Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg.
– In St. Petersburg, you can definitely expect a full house in the stands. Naturally, it is good that the national team will play in Russia. Still, I want to look at my team not only on the road, but also at home. It’s great that they play in general in Russia, and not specifically in St. Petersburg, – said Shirokov to the “Championship”.
