Former footballers Ian Wright AND Alan Shearer decided to support Gary Lineker following his suspension from the BBC.
Wright wrote in one of the social networks:
Everyone knows what Match of the Day means to me, but I told the BBC that I would not be taking part in the program tomorrow. Solidarity.
Shearer stated the following:
I told the BBC that I would not be attending Match of the Day tomorrow night.
