Daniil Shamkin, a pupil of Zenit, who plays for KAMAZ on loan, said that it is difficult for young players of the St. Petersburg team to gain a foothold in the first team.
– Zenit wants to solve the highest tasks. It is difficult for guys of my age and even a little older to compete without proper experience. If I had more playing time in the first team of Zenit, then a dream would come true for me. I am a Petersburger, I have been going to matches since I was four, my whole life is connected with Zenit. Until the last, I want to believe that this will continue, ”Shamkin told Sport Day after Day.
The 20-year-old has made 20 appearances in MELBET League One this season, scoring 5 goals and making 3 assists.
