“It’s strange, but I wasn’t offended” – Dzyuba about not getting into the application of the Russian national team for the March training camp
Lokomotiv striker Artem Dzyuba spoke about not being included in the Russian national team for the March training camp.
“I took it very calmly. It’s not for me to decide. The wording is only strange, they say, over 30, and there are three people of 35 each. They say they don’t call from the beach, but people play one game for 20 minutes, and they are called. Strange, of course, but I take it easy. Not exactly offended.
– You did a hat-trick just in time …
– So this is also just one game, not an indicator. Although I think that I played well not only against Rostov. If I had scored a goal with Spartak, everyone would have spoken differently, they would have said: “Mythical!” Functionally, I feel better and better, in Grozny I worked for the team, like everyone else. Therefore, everything is fine with me, I move on positively and with a smile on my face. I get high from everything, – Dzyuba is quoted by Match TV.
On March 23, the Russian team will play a friendly match with Iran in Tehran, and on March 26 – with Iraq in St. Petersburg.
In March 2022, FIFA and UEFA suspended Russian clubs and the Russian national team from participation in all international competitions.
