Former midfielder of the Russian national team Roman Shirokov admitted that he was surprised by the result of the match of the 19th round of the WORLD RPL CSKA – “Wings of the Soviets”.

The army team defeated the opponent with a score of 4:0.

– A little surprised by the result, because the Wings played good matches. Here they did not work right away. There were such ricochets that a person hits the goal, hits the heel, from which the ball bounces successfully, and Zabolotny played brilliantly. Not every striker can do this, but Anton was successful and hit great.

A minute later, at the “Wings”, a person brings a goal to himself – then it’s off and on. And so it ended. “Wings” could score a couple of goals. Maybe it would have shaken up the match, but, unfortunately for them, Akinfeev plays at the gates of the army team,” Shirokov told the “Championship”.

CSKA is fifth in the table with 32 points. In the next round, Vladimir Fedotov’s team will host Zenit in Moscow.
