“Balde’s level has long begun to decline” – an Italian journalist about the game of a Spartak footballer
Massimo Franchi, an Italian journalist from Tuttosport, believes that the level of play of Spartak forward Keith Balde has long begun to decline.
Balde moved to Spartak last summer from Cagliari, but did not play during the first part of this season, as he was serving a suspension for an anti-doping rule violation committed during his performances in the Italian championship.
– Balde’s level began to decline a long time ago – after four pretty good years at Lazio, he changed teams every season. First, a transfer to Monaco, then a loan to Inter, then a return to Monaco, Sampdoria, Cagliari, with whom Keita flew to Serie B, and finally Spartak. Balde’s professional career has not been brilliant, even though he won the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal last year. There, Keita acted as a simple reserve player.
As for his current position in Spartak, I have nothing to say here. I do not have the opportunity to follow the Russian championship, so I cannot say why Balde has so little playing time and what he should do next. This is rather a question for the football player himself, his agent, coach and team management, ”RB Sport quotes Franca as saying.
