Feyenoord and Sevilla reach Europa League quarter-finals

Feyenoord defeated the Ukrainian Shakhtar at home in the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League.

The meeting ended with the score 7:1. For the Dutch club, Santiago Jimenez, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Danilo scored goals, and Orkun Kekcu and Ussama Idrissi scored twice. As part of the Ukrainian team, Kevin Kelsey scored the only goal.

The first game of the teams ended in a draw – 1:1. On aggregate, Feyenoord advanced to the next stage of the Europa League.

In a parallel match, Fenerbahce defeated Sevilla 1-0 at home. The only goal for the Turkish club from the penalty spot was scored by Enner Valencia.

In the first match, Sevilla won 2-0 at home and advanced to the next stage of the tournament by the sum of two meetings.

The opponents of Feyenoord and Sevilla in the quarter-finals will be determined by a draw scheduled for March 17.
