Roma and Belgian Union reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League
Rome “Roma” on the road played a draw with “Real Sociedad” (0:0) in the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League.
The meeting ended with no goals scored. In stoppage time, the home team player Carlos Fernandez was sent off for two yellow cards.
In the first game, the Italian club won 2-0 at home and advanced to the next stage of the tournament on aggregate.
In a parallel match, the Belgian “Union” beat the German “Union” at home. The meeting ended with a score of 3:0, goals were scored by Teddy Theuma, Jean-Thierry Amani and Loic Lapoussin. The guests finished the game with ten men, in the 80th minute Yanik Haberer received a second yellow card.
In the first meeting, the teams in Germany tied (3:3). On aggregate, Union advanced to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
