“If Zenit beats CSKA, then we can say that 85% of Petersburgers will become champions” – Radchenko

Former striker of the Russian national football team Dmitry Radchenko believes that Zenit will defeat CSKA in the match of the 20th round of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

– The defeat in the Russian Cup is a very painful story for Zenit before such an important match with CSKA. We need to draw the right conclusions and prepare for the match. I think that in Moscow there will be a completely different game. This will be one of the key matches for the Petersburgers to strengthen their position in the fight for the championship. If Zenit wins against the army team, then we can say that they will take gold medals by 85%.

I can’t say that Zenit can be an outsider in the game with CSKA. The army team is also now showing an unstable game after the winter break. Yes, they manage to play according to the new scheme with two forwards, using Chalov and Zabolotny. But I think that Zenit will not rebuild their game. They will play as before – the first number.

I have repeatedly said that the Petersburgers always come out to play to win, other options are not considered. On Sunday CSKA will close, I think there will be few goals. Of course, I would like to see an interesting and open game, but it is unlikely to succeed. I think that Zenit will win with a score of 1:0 or 2:1,” Radchenko told Metaratings.ru.

Zenit is leading the RPL standings with 48 points, CSKA (32) is fifth.
