“Medvedev plays well. He deservedly wins his matches” – Kafelnikov
Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev plays well and deserves to win his matches, according to two-time Grand Slam singles champion Yevgeny Kafelnikov.
Medvedev defeated American Francis Tiafoe in the semi-finals of the Masters in Indian Wells.
Daniel is playing well. He deservedly wins his matches. I’m not surprised the winning streak continues. Honestly, I don’t know how long it will last. And not even surprised by his revival after the Australian Open! Kafelnikov told Sport24.
In the final, Medvedev will play Spaniard Carlos Alcaras, who is the first number of the tournament. The Russian goes from a series of 19 victories in a row. The meeting is scheduled for March 20 at 2.00 Moscow time.
