In the central match of the 26th round of the Spanish championship, Barcelona defeated Real Madrid (2:1).
The scoring was opened by Real Madrid thanks to an own goal by a Catalan player Ronald Araujo in the 9th minute. Just before the whistle for a break Sergius Robert scored the return goal (45th minute).
At the end of the 2nd half, the referees, after checking the VAR, canceled the goal of the Real Madrid player Marcus Asensio for offside. In the 90+2 minute the Barça midfielder manages to score Frank Kessier.
Barcelona leads the standings with 68 points. Real Madrid are second with 56 points.
