The absence of Fedor Chalov in the national team for the March training camp will allow him to fully focus on CSKA, said Alexander Grishin, a former club football player, ex-coach of the army youth team and the youth national team of Russia.

The final composition of the Russian national team for the March training camp was published on Friday. Earlier, the RFU communications service told Match TV that the RFU and the Iranian Football Federation agreed on the date of the friendly match of the national teams – March 23 in Tehran. The Russian team will play against Iraq in St. Petersburg on March 26.

– I don’t understand why Fedor was not called up to the Russian national team. At the moment he is the best striker in the championship. He scores in almost every match. And I do not understand the challenge of people who scored less than him. But on the other hand, he has the opportunity to give 100% to the game for his club and bring more benefits to CSKA, ”Grishin said in an interview with RT.

Chalov, after 20 rounds of the WORLD RPL, ranks fourth in the list of top scorers in the championship. He has 12 goals. Only Vladimir Sychevoi (14, now Wings of the Soviets, formerly Orenburg), Quincy Promes (16, Spartak) and Malcom (16, Zenit) are higher.
